My husband has a passion for missions, and he dreams of the day he can begin traveling across the world on mission trips to help people again. His love of missions began when he was young and he has traveled to many places I haven't even considered going. He has built homes for people and helped people from America to Mexico to Cuba. I know he wants to travel more. His eyes light up anytime people from church begin planning a mission trip. I have never been, never really had the desire to go either, but I know he wants me to go and experience what he has. Maybe one day when our children are older and a little more independent.
Suzanne, I have never been on a mission trip myself but people that I talk to say that they are incredible and life changing. I hope to one day go on one as well, when my babies are older!
