Project Life | Week 2

Woo hoo! I've found my groove and I've already completed Week 2 on Sunday afternoon. This past week I took Jessica Sprague's class Digital Project Life and I loved it. Although I knew most of the stuff already, I learned plenty of great tips and tricks. Part of the class was also getting a font in your own handwriting which I was super excited about. So on the bottom right orange card on the left page and the top left card of the right page is my handwriting font. I think that it is so neat that although I'm going digital this year, I can still have my handwriting on the pages.

On this page I scanned a painting Hunter had done and placed it on the page.

This page I included screen shots of a news site and email I recieved from my son's school about a lockdown they went through on Friday, a little bit scary but all turned out okay. Don't like days like that though, hopefully there will be no more in our future.

I mostly used the Project Life Clementine Edition to complete these pages. There are also a few elements that I got from Jessica Sprague's class and the a couple items from Designer Digitals.

Have a great week!

  1. LOVE your pages! They are so clean and beautiful! I also had to laugh--I did a Shutterfly book last year and am going to do the binder this year. After seeing your size comparison I am wondering about my choice! I am in the process of getting my book printed now, I am soooo excited to see it in person!

  2. Your pages look fantastic. I love the painting your son did! I didn't realise you could get your handwriting as a font through the Jessica Sprague class. I might have to look into that, because the biggest downer about digital is not having my handwriting in there. Otherwise, I love how easy it is, and small the book is at the end of the year!

  5. Love your pretty pages and CONGRATS on completing your week in such a timely manner. :) Digital is tempting...but I think I would miss the hands-on aspect of playing with paper. The handwriting font is pretty awesome, though.

  8. Great layouts! I love the handwriting font. One of these days I will have to get my own. I love doing digi stuff, but sometimes I miss getting my own writing on paper.
