Project Life | Week 20 & 21

Ahhhhh! I am so behind! Between end of the school year activities and moving out of state, I have fallen several weeks behind on Project Life. But I am determined to catch up and get back on track because I really love the final outcome of a family yearbook at the end of the year.

Since I am behind, I have made these pages super simple and easy, no fun stuff, because I just want to get them finished. I'll do more embellishments and brushes again once I am caught up. When I look at the overall book, I'm sure it won't bother me to have some plain pages in there, I will just be glad those memories are included!

Mother's Day week, I did manage to add a few cute things on these pages. I love scanning or taking a photo of memorabilia to include since this will be a printed photo book and I will not have inserts. That way, I still have a record of them, and some of them I do add to the kids' scrapbooks.

I can't believe my son graduated kindergarten! Where is the time going? This week I had sooo many pictures I wanted to include (there were plenty that didn't even make the cut) so I didn't leave much room for journal cards or embellishments. I did add QR codes to include video of each of the big events. (I erased the code for privacy.)

I used mostly Project Life products (Honey & Bridgeport), but if you see something you want to know about, check out my Pinterest page or just ask.

  1. Nice pages, Suzanne! Sometimes simple is the best way to go. :) I like how you used that tabbed "Remember" card on both the left and right pages of the first spread. I often think to myself that I can only use something like that once on a layout, but it really gives it a unified look. I may have to try that! :)
