My mom is here! So glad she is here. I've had so much fun with her and the kids today, I haven't taken many pictures or written down much. Here is what I did get...
As soon as Hunter woke up (which was only a few minutes after my mom), he ran into the guest room looking for her. When he didn't find her there, he ran downstairs where she was waiting for him. She had heard him coming and jumped out and scared him. Then I heard them laughing and talking. (I was still in bed.)

| First thing Hunter wanted to do with Grandma is play the Wii. She has no clue about playing but did it anyway to play with Hunter. He even got me to play with them too. |

| A little while after Violet woke up we sat down to eat breakfast. My mom always wants to take care of everyone and she was making everyone breakfast and starting laundry! She is such a big help when she is here. |

| She brought souvenirs for everyone from her recent cruise to Alaska. This bib was Violet's gift. |

| This is Violet after digging into all the food Grandma gave her. By the way, Violet says "cheese" now when I take her picture. It's the cutest thing ever! |
After hanging out around the house all morning and making a sort of a game plan for the week, we headed off to Target to go shopping. My mom is also great at being Grandma who loves to spoil! Hunter was excited to go shopping with Grandma and told her they would have to check out the Cars 2 isle of toys.

After Target we met Brian for lunch at Pei Wei. Yes, we did this earlier this week too. But what can I say, it's one of our favorite places. After lunch we went to Albertsons for a few groceries before going home.

| Albertsons is doing a Yahtzee scratch card promotion. So after my mom got her scratch cards, she sat down with Hunter and let him pick which boxes to scratch. You have to pick 1 box out of 4 in 5 different columns and they all have to match to win. Well, Hunter won on two cards! We couldn't believe it! He won two extra scratch cards and $1 in cash. He was so excited to get that dollar! |
After Albertsons we went home and Brian was home shortly after. My mom said she would baby sit so we could go out. I love getting to go out on a 'date' with Brian. It doesn't happen very often now that we are living in a town where none of our family lives. So when we do get to go out it is a special treat. We went to a movie and dinner. We didn't get home until almost 11pm and even though I know my mom was dying to go to bed, she said they had a great time. I wish I would've taken a picture of them when we walked in. They were having a "pajama" party under Hunter's loft bed and watching a movie. Hunter was sound asleep but Violet was happy to see momma when we walked in. Overall, a great day!
